This is one of the most popular Carrera slot car sets and comes with Police Ford Crown Victoria chasing down the getaway car a 1967 "Custom" Ford Mustang over 11.2 feet of race track. The Carrera Evolution series of slot car sets are 1:32 scale cars and 1:24 scale tracks(larger than the Carrera Go) and are recommended for 8 years and up.

With this set you race 2 classic cars driven by R.Petty the Plymouth Superbird "No. 43" 1970, and a Ford Torino Talladega "No. 43" 1969. With banked turns and flyover you can have some full on racing with the set over 19.7 ft of track. Easy to assemble and get started racing straightaway. I have seen reviews where children young as 5 have got the hang of the racing.

Carrera Digital Slot Cars
Digital slot cars arethe latest innovation to hit the slot car racing world. With the introduction of digital technology to slot car racing you can race up to 6 cars on a single two lane track. Each car is independently controlled and powered. To avoid this being a procession there are special sections of the track where you can change lanes that work in a similar way to points on a model railway.
A signal is sent from the hand control to the "point"and the car changes lane to overtake or block their competitor. This adds more real racing tactics to the racing. Other features can be programmed into the set like, ghost cars, fuel stops, yellow flags, tyre changes.
Carrera have 3 ranges incorporating this new technology – Digital 143, Digital 132, Digital 124.

Carrera Digital 132 Pro GT + Wireless – includes 2 cars BMW M3 GT2 and Audi R8 LMS Team Abt Sportsline. Can be upgraded to 6 cars. The cars are 1:32 scale and the track is 1:24 scale giving more racing room for the cars. The track is an extended looped figure 8 layout with 29 feet of track with 2 lane changing pieces.
