Carrera Go Champions Description
The Carrera Go Champions is part of the starter range of slot car sets. An affordable way to get into slot car racing for children aged 6 and over. The 1:43 scale makes it easy for children to handle the cars and the track when assembled doesn’t take up too much room.
In this set you get the cars of Red Bull RB5 Sebastian Vettel No.15 and Ferrari F10 Fernando Alonso to race over an extended figure 8 track layout which gives you a long straight to try out the turbo boost button to overtake your opponent, but don’t forget to slow down for the corners or all that acceleration might go to waste.
The cars are well designed to take the bumps and crashes of slot car racing. The paint job and livery looks great too because of the latest tampo-printing methods used.
The track length is 11.8 feet and needs an area of 4.95 by 2.69 feet when put together.
As interest grows in slot car racing this set can be expanded with numerous accessories adding more turns, loop the loops, crossover tracks etc. Also available is a wide range of slot cars including; formula 1 cars, Sponge Bob, dune buggies, trucks, cars trucks etc.

Yet, just like real racing you need to control the speed of the car round the corners especially. With slot car sets this is done with a hand controller. Most children new to the world of slot car racing get the hang of this fairly quickly.
