The slot car set is an analog set (traditional) and the cars are ready for upgrade to the Carrera digital slot cars system. It is recommended for adults, hobbyists and teens and children from the age of 8.
The cars are 1:32 scale and the track is 1:24 scale and this design is only available from Carrera Evolution tracks. This allows the cars to have more room for racing round the corners for more sliding and drifting racing action.
Carrera Evolution Disney Cars 2 World Grand Prix track is the classic figure 8 slot car racecourse. The track length is 14.8 feet and requires 6.56 feet by 2.62 feet of room when assembled.
As you become more involved in slot car racing the track is able to be expanded from 2 lane track to 4, 6 or 8 lanes and lengthened in just about any way with the addition of 1:24 scale track parts. The track’s slots are made from high grade steel with flexible track connections and synthetic track which all means the cars have a smooth and uninterrupted ride for more time spent racing.
